A luxury 3 bedroom A-Frame Chalet which underwent complete refurbishment in Summer 2022 to create a contemporary take on the classic Kent coastal holiday.
Set on top of the famous White Cliffs which stretch towards Dover Brightstone is located in a landscaped holiday park in Kingsdown, a former fishing village.

Mains fed Mira shower with digital temperature control.
NO PETS. Due to Park restrictions pets are not allowed anywhere in the Park.
Stairs: the stairs are quite narrow and a little steep. There is a ground floor double bedroom if you are travelling with anyone who is infirm.
Brightstone takes its name from the original Brightstone Holiday Camp built at the site in the 1930s.

Facilities include a recently refurbished indoor swimming pool, tennis court, outdoor table tennis table, crazy golf, volleyball court and children's play park as well as extensive gardens with sea view.
Free communal car park by the Park entrance with trolleys provided to move luggage to the chalets which are car free.
Staffed reception between 9am and 5pm with a small shop for sweets and basic essentials.
"Hog & Bean" takeaway coffee stand selling drinks, cakes bacon sandwiches and toasties during school holidays between 8.30am-1pm.
5 minute walk to local shops, pubs and Kingsdown beach.
1.5 mile walk to pubs at Deal. Lovely 2 mile walk to Deal Pier.
All of the chalets are purpose built holiday homes and not second homes. Guests receive a very warm welcome in the local shops and pubs.

Kingsdown was originally a fishing village and retains a lot of period charm with 3 traditional Kentish pubs, a newsagents and a butcher / deli. There is an excellent farm shop at nearly Walmer.
A wide range of foodstores are available in Deal (Sainsburys & Lidl) as well as artisan greengrocers, butchers and fishmongers. You can even buy fresh catch of the day from the fleet on the beach in Deal when in season. Tesco and M&S are available in Dover.
The quiet pebble beach is the main attraction with a coastal walk down to picturesque Deal.
Kingsdown is home to Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Course which offers spectacular views of the English Channel and France on a clear day.
Fun Facts
Kingsdown is home to the recently won Omaze £2.5M Kent Coastal house which backs onto the Park and shares the same views.
The Cliffs above Kingsdown beach are the fictional setting for Bond villain Hugo Drax's nuclear missile silo in Ian Fleming's 1955 Bond novel Moonraker.
Fleming bought a holiday home in neighboring St Margaret's Bay from Noel Coward in 1951 which he owned until 1957.
The Dover to London bus route (now run by National Express) is route number 007.

An unspoiled classic English coastal town with an exceptional range of independent shops, restaurants and bars. Deal is a short drive from Kingsdown or a very pleasant 2 mile walk along the shoreline path. Once a smugglers paradise it is now the perfect spot to relax and soak up the history, explore the vintage retail scene or farmer's market and local produce shops.

St Margarets at Cliffe and Dover Castle are on your doorstep. A short drive away you will find fashionable Broadstairs, hipster Folkestone, the ever popular Whistable Bay, seaside Hastings, numerous tourist attractions within Romney Marsh (steam railways, wildlife sanctuarys, watersports centres, karting, The Cinque Ports), the vineyards in the Kent Weald, castles, stately homes, WW2 museums and endless opportunities for walking or cycling. Paddle boarding, windsurfing and sea kayaking can be carried out locally with kite surfing opportunities available at Camber Sands, Sandwich Bay and Whitstable.

Brightstone has two double bedrooms and a twin and can sleep up to 6 people. It has a luxury bathroom (with bath and shower over) and a brand new second toilet on the first floor. It has a large lounge with a dining area to sit 6 and a large front deck with a table to seat 6 (extendable to seat 8) with a premium gas BBQ with grill and separate hotplate for hibachi cooking.
The upper bedrooms have ample storage in chests of drawers and there is a separate cupboard which stores a clothes rail, ironing board, iron and heated clothes drier. The ground floor double bedroom has wheeled storage boxes under the bed and coats hooks on the wall.

Guests can book (through the onsite reception) a free 50 minute slot at the indoor pool every other day which is open between 10am and 4.30. The outdoor facilities can be used for free if free or booked in advance for a small fee.
Our own sports equipment is in the chalet for use at your convenience.
Brightstone is a premium product designed to have the look and feel of a boutique hotel. We provide an all inclusive service which includes free electricity (many chalets still have £1 meters) , free WiFi and a professional cleaning service before and after the letting including bed linen and towels.
We require a minimum let of 5 days. Shorter lettings can be agreed subject to a £100 surcharge to cover the cost of the external cleaning and laundry service.
Our rates vary during the year and are priced for a whole chalet let rather than per person. Peak season in the summer is £1,400 per week. School holidays outside of the Summer season are £1,050 per week with other weeks priced between £800-£900 per week.
We offer a 10% discount for all bookings made more than 4 weeks in advance and an additional 5% repeat business discount.
We require a £200 security deposit which will be refunded within 7 days of the end of the letting.
